Terms for the private relocation consultation

The consultation

The private consultation is a 60 minutes focused working session priced at €95. Its purpose is to understand the proposed move, identify priorities and define appropriate next steps.

The consultation is the initial session only. It does not include later relocation work. Any further support requires a separately agreed tailored scope, fee and way of working.

Booking, payment and confirmation

Appointments are booked through Calendly and payment is processed through Stripe. The full consultation fee of €95 is payable at the time of booking.provider and are not received by this website.

A booking is confirmed once the appointment and payment have been successfully completed and a booking confirmation has been issued.

Before completing the booking, you will have the opportunity to review the appointment details and correct any information entered incorrectly.

Confirmation of the booking will be sent electronically to the email address provided during the booking process.

Payment-card information is processed by the relevant payment provider and is not received or stored directly by Laura Jiménez Private Desk.

The booking process and these Consultation Terms are available in English and Spanish.

Cancellation, rescheduling and no-shows

You may cancel or reschedule your consultation without charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment and failure to attend may result in the consultation fee being non-refundable, except where mandatory consumer rights apply.

If you arrive late, the consultation may still end at the originally scheduled time.

If Laura Jiménez Private Desk needs to cancel the consultation, you will be offered an alternative appointment or a full refund.

Client responsibilities

You should provide accurate and relevant information and attend the consultation at the agreed time using the confirmed meeting method.

Please do not send passports, identity documents, financial information, medical information, legal documents or other sensitive information through the general website enquiry form.

If documents or additional information are required in connection with the consultation or any later service, an appropriate method for providing them will be communicated separately.

Professional scope and third parties

The consultation provides relocation planning, coordination and general orientation within its stated scope. It does not constitute legal, immigration, tax, financial, medical or other regulated professional advice.

Where specialist advice is required, the relevant matter may be referred to or coordinated with an appropriately qualified independent professional. Any services provided by that professional remain subject to their own professional responsibility and, where applicable, separate engagement terms and fees.

Public authorities, property professionals, landlords, schools, healthcare providers and other third parties control their own decisions, procedures and availability. No visa or residence outcome, property, school place, administrative decision or other third-party result is guaranteed.

Consumer withdrawal rights

If you are acting as a consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days from the date the contract is concluded, without giving a reason, subject to the exceptions and conditions established by applicable consumer law.

If you request that the consultation take place before the 14-day withdrawal period has expired, you expressly request that performance of the service begin during that period.

Once the consultation has been fully provided, the right of withdrawal will be lost where you have previously expressly consented to the service beginning during the withdrawal period and acknowledged that you will lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.

If you exercise your right of withdrawal after expressly requesting that performance begin but before the service has been fully performed, you may be required to pay an amount proportionate to the part of the service already provided, as permitted by applicable law.

Responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Responsibility for any later relocation engagement, independent professional service or third-party service is governed by its separately agreed scope and applicable law.
